1. Data Wrangling: Used SQL and R to clean, analyze the diagnosis records and medical expenditure data of 140k+ patients, visualized the patients’ characteristics and their medical information; 2. Prediction of the Medical Cost: used machine learning methods(Lasso, Random forest) to find key indicators that affect the medical costs and built up models to predict medical costs. 3. Data visualization: Used ggplot2 in R to create the code to reproduce graphs, the similarity reaches 95%.

Financial data analysis: Collected and analyzed the financial reports, Visualized the key insights of financial reports/ investment portfolio reports of 10+ Allianz Operations in Excel, and reported insights to coworkers. 2. Drafting and proofreading audit reports: Supported the team in drafting 10+ standardized investment reports; proofread and typeset the audit reports; Interacted with business executives regarding fieldwork findings, status updates, and documentation requests.

Build up economic empirical model: Established hypotheses, designed economic models, found quantifiable indicators to measure the quality and quantity of R&D, collected the data of 526 universities in China from 2010 to 2015 to study whether the R&D investment of Chinese universities is effective. 2. Industrial data analysis: Used R to clean and analyze the GDP of manufacturing and service industries, built up an economic interaction model, and analysed and visualized datasets.
