Creation of GUI widgets using Python-Qt technologies.

Developed features for an autonomous driving system. Major contributions include creation & improvement of message communications between modules of autonomous system, maintenance of vehicle controller, testing features on hardware (dSPACE-Autobox ) and vehicle drive. Additionally, worked on semi-automated parking system and automated few processes. Technologies: C++ 11/14/17, Python, Googletest, OOPs & OOAD, SOLID design, Clean Code, Bazel, CMake, Git, CLion, Visual Studio, Linux, Agile/Scrum etc.

Designed and Developed “Apps” module for Ford’s HMI system. The “Apps” module utilises Ford’s AppLink™ suite of APIs which is built upon SmartDeviceLink (SDL) open source project. SmartDeviceLink (SDL) connects in-vehicle infotainment systems to Smartphone applications. AppLink™ facilitates access and control of mobile applications running on connected Smartphone from HMI/UI. Core technologies- C++ 11/14, STL, Qt, Qml, CommonAPI, D-Bus, Franca IDL, Git, QtCreator, Embedded Linux (Yocto) etc.

Worked on Mines safety software features such as Active-Speed-Braking, Retarder etc. for MineTruck and ScoopTram vehicles. Also created re-usable static libraries and fixed issues in warning system in the vehicle. Additionally, re-designed software for City Paver machine in a multi RTOS environment. Technologies: C++, C, Qt, Boost, Google Test/Mock, CMake, CAN Bus, Mercurial etc.

Worked for feature enhancement and maintenance of Traffic Message Channel (TMC) module of in-vehicle navigation system. TMC module receives traffic incident messages from FM radio stations and satellites which is decoded by the system and displayed on HMI for real-time traffic and weather related updates. Also, led a team performing Software Qualification Testing of Bluetooth application on development and release software builds. Technologies: C++, OOPs & OOAD, ALERT-C Messaging Protocol, Bluetooth etc.

Contributed in feature enhancement and bug fixing of SYSTAT software package. Also, worked briefly in a text mining project.
