Aaron Flynn

Distrelec is one of Europe's leading distributors of electronics, automation and measurement technology. My role here involves working with Marketing to help drive traffic to our websites by designing and developing a wide range of web pages, emails, banners and printed marketing material. Attention to deal is crucial, as the vast majority of the work I create has to be translated across 23 countries in 16 languages.

I was responsible for understanding and executing a client brief to ensure their website strategy supports their commercial goals. I worked within a squad (Project Manager, Strategist, Backend Developer, Tester) to find a solution that creatively meets the client brief within a given budget. I would crate layered design concepts and convert them into well formatted HTML and CSS, using JavaScript or pre-made libraries such as jQuery to add interactive elements to enhance the user experience.
