Abbo van Neer

My main responsibilities were divided into two major parts with the first being educational work with locals, tourists and pupils relating to the topics World Heritage Site and National Park "Schleswig- Holsteinisches Wattenmeer", Climate Change and oil exploitation in the North Sea and conservation biology in the National Park. The second part included the planing, organisation and performing of nature conservation and monitoring tasks.

I worked in the department of Behavioural Biology as a research assistant. My position included developing and carrying out certain projects with Termites as well as collecting data in the field. My last project included for example a six week field trip to collect data in Namibia.
