Abhi Ojha

Research Assistant in Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. My research interests include applications of stochastic calculus, machine learning, smart grid data analytics, convex optimization, coupling power systems with other cyber-physical systems

1. Teaching Assistant for the course Introduction to Power Systems. 2. As a research assistant I worked on optimal power flow problem and coupling of gas-electric infrastructure.

As a teaching assistant for the Electronics Support Group, I helped students in the areas of Electric Circuit Theory, Applied Electric Theory, Electronics, AC Circuit Electronics, Analog and Industrial electronics.

1. Assisted in Real time load management and power management. 2. Created a software for 4 hour ahead load forecasting and scheduling of generators. 3. Worked on the project of effective use of Distribution Automation in the distribution network which helped in improving the reliability of network. 4. Responsible for fault restoration, outage planning and reliability improvement. 5. Developed good working knowledge of SCADA, DMS, OMS, EMS and GIS and SAP.
