As part of my PhD program, I conducted an advanced research internship at the University of Geneva, specializing in time-resolved fluorescence anisotropy experiments.

My Master's research in Prof. Kapoor's lab examined Mtb lipids’ impact on THP-1 membrane fluidity using Laurdan, TMA-DPH, fluorescence spectroscopy, and AFM. I utilised MATLAB for data analysis and handled PC-3 and DU-145 cell lines for a project on monoethanolamine. I gained proficiency in cell culture, data management, teamwork, and communication.

My internship at Prof. Shobhna Kapoor's lab focused on optimizing thin layer chromatography to analyze lipids extracted from Mycobacterium smegmatis. 1. Optimizing solvents for running thin layer chromatography and creating staining reagents for visualizing lipids. 3. Verifying the composition of the lipids through MALDI-TOF spectroscopy analysis. Learning and applying techniques such as lipid extraction, thin layer chromatography, and fluorescence spectroscopy.
