Prepared and delivered business, technical and architectural presentations to potential and existing customers throughout Latin America regarding new features and solutions. Spearheaded OCS and Convergent Charging feature prioritisation activities. Assisted in the development of the overall product strategy; worked with stakeholders across the organization to ensure the product strategy met the needs of clients in the region.

Played a key role in the formulation of product strategy in the Charging Business Unit. Defined the OCS product roadmap in addition to leading the delivery of complex solutions. Drove the delivery of product change, including analysis, definition and documentation of business and functional requirements.

Activities included dimensioning and pricing, bid preparation, Sales support, customer meetings, product presentations at all levels Managed all aspects of the productisation process, including the production of sales and marketing materials for specific products and releases Managed technical aspects of third party vendors e.g. compatibility, end of life issues, etc.

Designed Intelligent Network (IN) and messaging value-added services (VAS). Responsible for End-to-End delivery of VAS projects from business case preparation through requirements capture, design, development, test and implementation. Selected vendors based on successfully completed RFI and RFQ processes. Participated in contract negotiations with vendors. Launched a number of key products and services

Responsible for Unix servers’ maintenance and operation. Carried out performance optimization and testing. Managed the rollout of system upgrades. Created automated shell scripts for notifying server issues. UNIX file manipulation and bash / c shell scripting.

Installed and configured SMSC servers on customer’s sites throughout EMEA and in Latin America. Carried out product support and maintenance, that involved troubleshooting, debugging and testing. Liaised with customers and internal stakeholders to analyse and report enhancements. SS7, Oracle RDBMS, UNIX system administration
