In each Novartis site, one BISE is representing ISRM (Information Security Risk Management). During this assignment I was BISE for 3 different TechOps sites (Wehr, Schweizerhalle and BDSS in Basel). • Manage and report all Gaps, Risks and Vulnerabilities • Spoc for all ISRM topics during internal and external Audits • Establish and manage ISRM business community • Communicate and present awareness campaigns to the business • Responsible for all ISRM related topics during application onboarding process

Axians redtoo provides a global project manager service to Novartis which is called “PM as a Service”. More than 30 project managers are managing 15 different projects globally. In the role as a Business Analyst and Application Developer I was developing an MS Office based solution which is used to document Key Performance Indexes (KPI). This solution is used by all project managers to document their individual projects and to generate the final monthly report for the customer.

I was hired by the KKL (Kernkraftwerk Leibstadt) as a Project Manager to lead the migration and the qualification of all applications from Windows7 to Windows10.

I was hired by Novartis GIS to manage and improve the global process for various global infrastructure related order processes such as provisioning as well as decommissioning orders.

As the Project Manager for the Active Directory migration at KSBL (Kantonsspital Baselland), I was in charge to migrate 3900 users from three different domains (Liestal, Laufen and Bruderholz) into a new domain (KSBL). The main challenge was to ensure a smooth migration without any interruption for the end user. I could close this project successfully in time and in budget.

In the position as the Service Manager of the Novartis AQWA Service Desk my main responsibility was to manage and improve the already existing service organization. I was able to establish a well excepted service organization gaining a very good reputation within the Business organization. Together with the team, we could deliver a very good service reaching all KPI's closely to 100%. In January 2014, my role changed within the AQWA organization from Service Desk Operational Manager to AQWA Service Manager.

As a Client and Server Engineer I was hired to design and plan the migration of the new Chromeleon Software (Chromatography Data System) in all required Novartis sites. Due to Project delays, I remained focus on other tasks such as maintaining the existing version by doing application support as well as planning and performing software migration projects within new Novartis sites.

I joined NIBR IT to lead a team to migrate data from a legacy environment (NT 4.0) to ENGINE (Windows XP) because of my wide-ranging experience in working with GxP critical data. This migration has been completed successfully which helped NIBR IT to achieve cost savings as well as quality, compliance and efficiency improvements. Furthermore, the approach that I developed and employed in Basel has been adopted at other Novartis locations as the best practice.

Within Novartis Pharmaceutical Development, I was holding the position as a Service Delivery Manager. I was involved into the ordering process and the design of its services with regards to the infrastructure such as the Infrastructure Qualification process, Support Modeling (Incident & Problem Management), Disaster Recovery, Change Management, Configuration Management and Backup and Recovery.

As Novartis is managing their assets on a global level, I was the Interface between Dell Inc. and Novartis to ensure the quality of this service. I was also accountable for the quarterly transition process which includes hardware configuration changes and new price definitions. Further responsibilities were to organize and hold global workshops, which were used to introduce new standards as well as collecting requirements from our customers.

When Vaccines and Diagnostics acquired by Novartis, the infrastructure had to be integrated and qualified according to Novartis regulatory requirements. I was supporting the project team as a Project Manager and IT Consultant. My responsibilities were to manage the Integration of the existing infrastructure into the Novartis environment with minimal client disruption.

I joined NSPM Novartis TechOps (Singapore) as part of the team that was responsible for the first automation site to be fully integrated into Active Directory. In this challenging role, I was responsible for the design and implementation of the user account management system as well as the security and patch management process on all SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) machines. I was also working as a technical expert and system architect for infrastructure related problems.
