• Responsible for the strategic procurement of construction services (pull-out tests, geotechnical investigations, etc.), steel construction sub-structure and auxiliary systems (e.g. infrastructure, fences & roads) for international ground-mounted photovoltaic power plants / Solar projects. • Search, selection & development of new potential suppliers & subcontractors. • Managed the negotiation of contracts with suppliers & subcontractors.

 Provide recommendations to improve internal procurement activities and sources.  Coordinate with the various project managers for identifying materials, services and equipment requirements  Manage the negotiation of contracts with vendors/suppliers of the required services, analyze prices, specifications,  Establish professional relationships with suppliers/vendors.  Contribute in problem solving of any conflicts arising between suppliers/subcontractors and site.

 Analyze Recommend vendor lists for each of the project items for the procurement manager approval in line with the departments policies and procedures.  Obtain quotations from subcontractors/suppliers and prepare both technical and financial comparison and analysis sheets for management’s evaluation and approval.  Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable

 Assisting the Top Management Bid Committee for the decision making of infrastructure tenders’ selection through BNB (Bid-No-Bid) form.  Procurement, Cost Estimation & Quantity Surveying for all the offshore/marine works of the infrastructure department such as desalination plants, ports & harbor tenders.  Taking the charge of all procurement packages for the whole mega projects inside infrastructure department in addition to the standard civil works

 Establishing a data base for the marine works activities and making good connections with the key suppliers & subcontractors all over the world who are specialized in all activities related to the marine works fields.  Procurement, Cost Estimation & Quantity Surveying for all the offshore/marine works of the infrastructure department such as desalination plants, ports & harbor tenders.  Attending site visits, surveying data for the selected future business countries (Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya...etc)
