WHK at the Chair of Radio Frequency and Photonics Engineering. Designed and analyzed digital signal processing algorithms for a Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) on an STM32G4 micro-controller using Python, focusing on digital filter design and optimization.

Part of the HybridEcho Team at the Vodafone Chair of Mobile Communication Systems. Extended existing ultrasound imaging simulations in Python to incorporate artery wall thickness estimation using a newly proposed algorithm. Implemented and validated the algorithm on both simulated and raw RF ultrasound data to improve accuracy in wall thickness measurement. Contributed to GPU-accelerated beamforming and signal processing workflows for generating Ascan and B-mode images in medical imaging analysis.

Part of the Wireless Connectivity and Sensing team. Contributed to the open-source HermesPy framework, focusing on simulation, beamforming, and channel modelling modules. Integrated real-world propagation environments into the simulation pipeline using Sionna-RT, OpenStreetMap, Blender, and Mitsuba for ray tracing and coverage analysis. Maintained and improved project documentation using Sphinx and participated in version control via Git and GitLab.
