Feasibility study of a finite element model compared to the classic calculation of the API and DNV. Creating 2D and 3D F.E model validated with the normative. Generation of different load cases (axial, bending, twisting to the 3D case) and compared with results from the API and DNV. Calculating the profitability and viability of a R & D study. Study material saving.
