Supervise and coordinate activities of the Americas Asset Integrity Management (AIM) Team. Assure quality and consistency of deliverables. Recommend appropriate methods for pipeline integrity assessments to meet US DOT PHMSA Integrity Management Program requirements. Evaluate pipeline risks based on threats as defined by ASME B31.8S and consequences as defined by Integrity Management Program.

Provide technical direction and contribute to a range of corrosion related activities, including materials selection for wellheads and manifolds, and effects of environment on materials performance for surface, onshore and subsea drilling and production equipment. Advise the organizations of: Product Engineering, Materials Engineering and Advance Technology.

Analyze customer requirements for corrosion control and make ecommendations on materials and/or chemical products to be used on pipelines and associated facilities. Research solutions for customers and prepared proposals and reports using previously attained engineering and metallurgical knowledge and experience. Interface with customer upper Management worldwide to successfully develop new business opportunities. Provide technical advice to the worldwide Sales Team.

Develop integrity services proposals for the North American pipeline market. Lead the execution of pipeline Integrity projects, Fitness‐for‐purpose, corrosion growth evaluation from in‐line inspections, and/or corrosion growth modeling for major Oil and Gas operators in North America. Provide technical assistance and guidance on integrity services for pipeline operations in the Persian Gulf (Qatar), Asia‐Pacific (Vietnam), Venezuela and Brazil. Manage pipeline integrity activities with PEMEX.

Technical leader of operational services related to Materials Engineering and Corrosion for PDVSA EP East for: (a) casing inspection, lab tests and development of corrosion control strategy for conversion of wet CO2/H2S double‐completion natural‐flow wells to production by ESP, (b) selection of completion materials, design of in‐line test of corrosion inhibitors, and design of corrosion control strategy for the first Water-Alternate‐Gas (WAG) well in Eastern Venezuela.

Manage or execute different projects in basic and applied research related to corrosion inhibition during well acidizing, application of artificial intelligence to corrosion prediction and control, expert systems, inhibitor selection for oil and gas wells, materials degradation in down hole applications, selection of corrosion inhibitors for system conditions, and monitoring of down hole corrosion inhibition. Lead engineering teams to provide technical services related to area of expertise.
