Definition of vehicle systems and components subject to technical modifications and calculation of estimated vehicle delta costs and related tooling costs. Periodical product cost check during development phase, aimed to verify that product cost and tooling are in line with approved project targets. Full vehicle produc cost check , coordinated with Production Plant Controlling (Madrid) and Iveco Finance (Turin) in order to identify vehicle costs for the various Iveco markets.

Project management of all cost reduction modification requests: definition of the necessary project budget needed to implement the engineering change and coordination of related budget approval flow. Implementation of cost reduction idea as per Iveco development flow, from idea generation up to serial production

Iveco Cost Engineering Department is part of the sequential engineering development process. Every engineering change and every new component developed by the engineering department is cost analyzed: output of the cost analysis is a component and an investment target cost, used by purchasing department for the final commercial negotiation with suppliers. My technical perimeter was cost targeting of all engineering modifications related to wiring harness and onboard vehicle electronics
