I had the opportunity to switch in-house from a feature team to a service team with a focus on the architecture of the igus software system. Our short term objective is to assist feature teams in designing sustainable software, review their concepts, and introduce a process to evaluate, prioritize, and measure technical debt. We curate the system documentation and teaching architecture skills to teams to make our service obsolescent in the long term.

We worked on extracting business logic out of different ERP Systems into reusable microservice. We needed to manage tooling, CI/CD, and architecture and development of those microservices. Around 2020 a digital transformation started introducing new team topologies. I started in a new feature team where we assisted the stakeholders with their ideas, documented and designed concepts, and implemented business functionalities across microservices, legacy ERP systems, Kubernetes independently from other teams.

I worked as an external Developer at a customers workplace in a team which for superseded an existing ERP System. We used a MicroServices architecture hosted parts on ServiceFabric, Kubernetes and Azure. After that our Team started to move more and more Features out of our legacy blackbox ERP System into our own MicroService landscape. As needed I worked on VisualStudio Extensions for example to generate Code based on JsonSchemas, static CodeAnalysis and CodeFix providers using the Roslyn Compiler SDK.
