Led ESG regulatory transformation as head for CSRD and EU Taxonomy implementation in Germany. Designed internal control systems, steered cross-departmental implementation, and aligned national integration with international HQ. Represented Germany in global ESG coordination efforts and led major IT-Project integrations. Held disciplinary and partial personnel responsibility for a team of six, overseeing development, target setting and daily operations.

Managed governance and risk processes in “International Administration Services”. Designed internal controls, reporting mechanisms and compliance structures across operational units. Contributed to the development of internal control frameworks aligned with international standards.

Consulted C-level stakeholders in major financial institutions on ESG integration, risk frameworks and regulatory alignment (BaFin, ECB, CSRD, EU Taxonomy). Co-led audits with a focus on regulatory compliance, risk governance, and financial instrument valuation – including derivatives and trading book exposures under IFRS and German GAAP. Facilitated board-level workshops and co-authored ESG publications. Highlight: Designed an ESG rating methodology for a top German banking group.

Gained in-depth experience in valuation and accounting of financial instruments, particularly derivatives, structured products, and trading portfolios, in line with regulatory and accounting standards.

Supported quantitative portfolio design and aligned an ESG investment strategy across international teams.

Developed a performance metric and reporting system to support strategic decision-making and provided direct analytical support to executive leadership.
