Heading the “Business Unit Data Operations” globally; incl. NNA function, purchasing, feeding, inputting, normalization, processing, production, enhancement, change management and customer support of the SIX FI data universe with over 10 Mio. financial instruments; business ownership of the over 50 data applications and platforms. Leading 270 employees in 10 locations worldwide as well as functional management of a further 220 employees in the Data Production Centers in both Poland and India.

Secondary work: Freelancing consultant, offering advice and execution of training regimes, incl. coaching (fitness & mental) and nutrition consulting for potential and professional athletes. Partially in cooperation with Athletes Performance Institute, Phoenix, Arizona, USA.

Responsibility for all financial information (Market Data, Reference Data, News & Research) used by WestLB‘s Business Units and their customers; Business responsibility for the data and eTrading applications and their development end-to-end. Global responsibility for WestLB´s data purchasing and contracts. Leading of 50 employees worldwide. Strategy development and implementation. Budget responsibility of over 100 Mio. EUR p.a. and a strong reduction of costs.

Management of various projects, e.g. Euro Migration across various systems, Y2K-Migration, Optimization of information services, Design and implementation of the Treasury customer database worldwide, ALMcash (design and implementation of the platform for Asset & Liability Management), Introduction of the Reuters Platform RMDS Germany; Participation in a wide range of other projects. Business responsibility for a large number of IT systems within the business area.

Responsible for the customer support in the Düsseldorf subsidiary; support of approximately 45 customers, sales of financial information and new customer acquisition. Presentation of the Dow Jones products, preparation and execution of customer trainings, user support and consulting, participation at customer events and fairs. Responsible for the project management of the most important customer project in Germany.

Responsible for the Account Management and the order delivery of music jobs, films, TV. and cinema advertisements, print and graphics projects as well as other design jobs. Customer support and contract negotiations with both customers locally as well as internationally. Project Management incl. responsibility for budget and profitability.
