Bibliographic research aiming at producing thermally insulating thin polymer films, for infra-red sensor applications (λ<0,04 W/m/K)

Optimized a Sheet Moulding Compound formulation to tune its mechanical and rheological properties, as well as its reactivity. Worked in close collaboration with multiple industrial partners. Supervised an undergraduate intern. Tutored master students during practical work.

Development of multi-layer printed organic photovoltaic cells. Performed surface treatment and characterization, as well as ink formulation, in order to improve the adhesion between the different layers.

Optimized the synthesis of a UV stabilizer for polymers, prior to upscaling. Yield obtained: 98%

Synthesised self-assembled diamide compounds. Characterisations performed: GPC, FTIR, NMR, electronic microscopy, gelation test.
