Development of a plugin in the BMW SmartAuotmationSuite, which allows the user to create a Robot Workbook. Programming with C # / WPF in Visual Studio.

• Analysis of the latest autoconfiguration methods on bus technologies (Profinet, Profibus etc.) like PLCOpen, OWL etc. • The formal definition of the devices (PLC, Robot etc.) used in the automotive manufacturing are developed on Protégé as Industrie 4.0 concept based on semantics technology. • Prototype interface is developed on Java along with the GUI on SWT which interacts with the devices’ ontological structures.

•Commissioned and controlled PLC (Siemens ET-200s) and different controllers used in the assembly line by Simatic Manager Step7. •Function blocks were created on IEC 61131-3 standard different languages (ladder, FBD, ST, IL and SFC) to control partial operations of industrial robots for the car body manufacturing. • Robot test cell was created and simulated in the Siemens Process Simulate. • Analysis and preparation of PLCOpen standards and concepts for the integration of drive technology
