Ali Bugra Bulunmaz

I am the founder and owner of SAM Corona Test Stations where I am leading 26* employees as well operating seven* test stations in Karlsruhe and Pforzheim*. On behalf of the Public Health Service (ÖGD), we are performing Corona rapid antigen tests. I am greatly enhancing my leadership and operating skills. *Update: Unfortunately, due to easing the Corona regulations, we had to close six test stations and reduce the number of employees from 26 to 10.

I was responsible for checking the Incoming and Outgoing Students´ documents for correctness and completeness. In this context I advised students with their study plans. For this purpose I organised meetings where we got together. Furthermore, I was responsible for the organisation of a factory tour to Robert Bosch GmbH in Abstatt. This work experience highly developed my advising and organisational skills, increased my intercultural competencies as well as international network.

I gained an insight into accounting, marketing and customer service. My tasks included assisting the CEO with calculation related to investment projects and being responsible for advertising on social media. Moreover, thanks to my experiences with passenger rights, I was the single point of contact to customer complaints. Finally, I conducted a survey of customer opinions on how Göktur Reisen could successfully deal with online competition. I used the results of this survey in my Bachelor´s thesis.

I supported my team in planning and coordinating of technical investigations of low pressure sensors for our clients. Therefore, I independently ensured equipment and organised many special investigations. Furthermore, I analysed and evaluated test datas and presented the results in weekly group meetings. Thus, I highly developed my organisational and presentation skills. As a special task, I compared costs of a large number of technical investigations for managerial and financial purposes.

I advised and supported customers in Turkish, German and English. Therefore, I independently managed travel reservations for clients. I also took the responsibility for decision-making and executing of advertising on social media thereby attracting new clients. In addition, I attended conferences and business trips with international partners. My obtained experience in tourism and airline industries helped me to greatly enhance my communication skills, client service as well as intercultural competences.
