In the role of Sales Manager, I am jointly responsible for the preparation and monitoring of the sales forecast. Visiting the plant with customers and prospects, handles complex technical and commercial questions expertly with requests as a result. I am in charge of the development and management of a client and prospect portfolio.

During new build, I advise clients as to which spare parts are needed and will arrange the sale of same. In consultation with my colleagues at Huisman and the customer, I am responsible for preparing a project plan in relation to the advice and offer process, for compiling the order list and for selling and supplying the parts needed. I am responsible at all stages for coordination and monitoring progress where necessary will step in and make the necessary adjustments.

Completing the entire bid from the concept to completion of the tender for all divisions. Identify the true cost of items (labour, material and equipment etc.) at every stage of the process. Determine along the way if the cost of the items is feasible to the owner. Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with sub-contractors, architects and consultants. Suggest and explore creative value engineering opportunities.

The departments of Construction & Engineering Analysis of VIRO Schiedam worked together with pipe support calculations for three flashgas compression-ships of SBM Offshore. The ships built for AgipKCO are in Kashagan, an offshore oilfield Kazakhstan near the Caspian Sea. Flash gas consists of a part of the oil extracted from the pollutant gas (to a large extent so hydrogen). On the ship, this gas collected and compressed for storage.
