Group Risk Management of the bank has set a new policy to have a comprehensive and consistent overview of all banking products fully available according to the Dutch Banking Code. One of the main goals of the product was to give the Board of Commissioners a clear insight of products offered to wholesale clients globally. The total of around 70 wholesale banking products had to be described, including the risk assessment of each individual product. I prepared 17 detailed banking product descriptions.

As a part of the multi-million integration Program Erasmus, the Credit Risk Management department has to be set up in the Netherlands. Seven experienced risk professionals are working towards the migration of data and development of the new risk systems, implementation of the Target Operating Framework and all related “to be” processes for CRM. I added value to the team setting up the effective communication to senior stakeholders, managing project deliverables, monitoring and facilitating project progress

The project objective was to implement Basel 2 regulations in the Market risk environment reducing capital charge requirements for the Bank. Within a team of 5 international people, we successfully implemented the application solution that allowed the bank to calculate and control the regulatory capital charge for Market risk under standardized approach for the interest rates, equity and commodity products. The capital charge figures were significantly reduced.

Experience: financial institutions relationship with a focus on Austrian banks, correspondent banking, negotiation and signing of the EBRD/IFC trade facilitation agreements, execution of the trade finance loans for large corporate clients and long term funding agreements for Priorbank, compliance and due diligence documentation; preparation, analysis and coordination of the bank’s annual funding plans, financial statements analysis, Letters of Credits, Letters of Guarantees, account management.

Experience: daily liquidity maintenance and reporting, interest rates monitoring, money market operations on the international borrowing market, Reuters dealing platform, documentation process of the syndicate loan, SWIFT operations.
