As Innovation Manager within the Innovation Lab, Digital Experience, we pushed the boundaries of innovation to tackle both business and customer problems. Whether coming from bottom-up intrapreneurs or top-down, to moonshots and disruptive technologies, I enabled teams to drive product outcomes. - Built cross-functional teams to tackle problems or strategic projects by designing, prototyping and validating products. - Expert facilitator and trainer of Design Sprints, OKRs and customized workshops.

At Zalando Studios, every article that goes on the Zalando platform passes through the bustling photo-production studio to process and put online an average of 1,300 articles each day. As an Innovation Manager, I had end-to-end responsibility for cross-product/function initiatives and strategic technology topics. I looked at the big picture to "connect everything" to identify, lead and drive new innovative projects that presented fashion articles to inspire 25 million customers in 17 countries.

engage AG provides advisory services to early-stage technology-intensive businesses and specializes in IP asset management to create value from intellectual property. Working at the interface of science, business and investments, I assisted clients and partners to identify and protect marketable ideas and research results. Notable accomplishments include securing 2.2 million Euros from Give to Cure to fund a proof of concept clinical trial for a biotech startup.

Contributed to IP asset management projects, conducted patent analysis, market analysis studies and presentations. • Accomplishments include contributing to multiple EU Horizon 2020 project proposals, one of which succeeded in passing on to stage two. Co-managed 2nd stage project management submission of Alzheimer’s disease clinical trail proposal.

CIEE is a leading provider of international educational experiences developing skills for living in a globally interdependent and culturally diverse world. • Responsible for the strategy, development, and execution of multi-million dollar experience-based exchange programs in Eastern Europe • Accomplishments include tripling scholarship funding to USD$3 mill from 1 mill per year and expanding operations into four Eastern European countries

Oversaw SEVIS (Student Exchange Information System) implementation and compliance across all business lines. • Implemented new procedures for evolving government regulations, improved and maintained industry leading compliance for over 35,000 sponsored exchange visitors annually. • Served as the onsite expert on U.S. Code of Federal Regulations, Exchange Visitor Programs, mandatory reporting to State Department.

MIUSA is a cross-disability organization with a mission to empower people with disabilities to achieve their human rights through international exchange and international development. • Advised people with disabilities, professionals and organizations on increasing disability inclusion in international study and exchange programs.

Conducted researched on how the nervous system controls behavior by analyzing the neural networks that regulate chemotaxis and thermotaxis, spatial orientation behavior, in the nematode worm Caenorhadbitis elegans. Generated and analyzed data, maintained lab strains and cultures, ordered and maintained supply stock
