Amos Jones

AMOS JONES is a Top 100, Super Lawyers-rated American who practiced with Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner for three years before joining the legal academy in North Carolina for seven, earning unanimous promotion to the rank of Associate Professor of Law in 2015. In 2006-07, he was a Fulbright/Visiting Scholar at Melbourne and in Fall 2015 was Academic Visitor to the Faculty of Law at Oxford.

Jones taught Constitutional Law and Comparative Constitutional Law. His research focused on labor/employment issues, constitutional law, and the law of foreign relations.

As an associate in the International Trade and Commercial Litigation groups, Jones counseled clients on a range of corporate matters, including certain international employment concerns and trade issues.

Based at the Centre for Comparative Constitutional Studies, Jones analyzed the influence of political culture upon the legal development of the Bill of Rights and collateral social allowances proposed for Australia. He wrote, lectured, and served adjunctively as Residential Tutor in Whitley Col
