I worked within the Tax and Statutory Reporting Department of Vodafone Romania. Responsible for the company’s compliance with International Financial Standards (IAS) and Vodafone Group Accounting Policies; carried out analysis of new accounting transactions impacting on financial reporting process; responsible for preparation of company’s year-end statutory financial statements and for the relationship with external auditors; prepared analysis and reporting of current status of company’s financial targets.

Starting October 2005, I have been working within the Internal Control and Revenue Assurance Department of Vodafone Romania SA. I am involved in insuring Company's compliance to the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) law, section 404 Internal Controls. I am presently involved in the SOX compliance project, by insuring adequate internal controls exist and, if not, developing new appropriate internal controls, for each identified business process, according with SOX requirements and Vodafone Group's regulations.

I was involved in audit assignments in different industries such as medical products, consumer goods, petroleum products, industry and retail for private companies; the engagements included audits under Romanian Accounting Standards, International Accounting Standards (IAS), US GAAP, German Accounting Standards; responsible for coordinating parts of the auditing work and also for leading audit teams (4-5 persons).

I was involved in audit assignments in different industries such as medical products, consumer goods, petroleum products, industry and retail for private companies; the engagements included audits under Romanian Accounting Standards, International Accounting Standards (IAS), US GAAP, German Accounting Standards, under team leader supervision.

The program was concentrated in offering a detailed overview over all functions of a multinational company. The teaching was practice oriented, so I had to prepare and present case studies, with a permanent cultural sensitivity awareness.
