I have redesigned the Corporate Audit function to fit a global high-tech company with 30.000 employees worldwide by creating a technical audit function and an audit hub. Since I have been leading the ESG department, we have managed to conduct a materiality analysis, establish a sustainability strategy, and significantly improve our ESG ratings. I have also set-up a Project Management Office to initiate cross-functional work groups driving the implementation of our ESG strategy.

Member of the Finance Leadership Team with reporting line to CFO and Head of the Audit Committee: - Full responsibility for establishing and executing the company's audit plan. - Governance owner for Enterprise Risk Management and Project Risk Management System. - Governance owner for the Internal Control System.

- Responsibility for establishment and execution of annual audit plan, and reporting package to board. - Trusted advisor to the business regarding various topics, e.g. controlling of subsidies for a 60 Mio. EUR plant extension, provision for contingent losses related to a divested segment, in-depth review of sales forecast.

- Management of a major fraud investigation in the Oil & Gas BU - Lead multiple operational audits related to a 1 billion EUR turnkey powerplant project: evaluated the on-site, and back-office processes, e.g. tender & contract management, Engineering, or Procurement resulting in the set-up of an EPC readiness program. - Lead numerous operational audits, e.g. warranty management, portfolio management, lease accounting, purchasing, and sales. (Cost savings of over 3 million EUR in less than 2 years.)
