Dr. Andreas J. Stroehlein

Postdoctoral researcher at The University of Melbourne (UoM). I hold a BSc and MSc in Bioinformatics and a PhD in Parasite Genomics (focus on kinomes and drug discovery). I am now working on new bioinformatic technologies for gene curation, protein annotation, essentiality and drug target predictions to gain a better understanding of parasite biology and devise new strategies for the control of helminth infections. I am also actively involved in teaching/tutoring Parasitology at UoM.
