Acting as an external project manager leading a foreign branch integration stream.

Project leader for the reporting and reconciliation streams for a new treasury accounting sub ledger and the replacement of legacy cobol backoffice systems. The multi million euro project was taken over in a crisis and was part of the IFRS 9 implementation within the bank and therefore had fixed and very challenging timelines. The project achieved the go live milestones and ensured successful reporting of quarter and half year results for the biggest member of Austrias ATX equity index.

Project leader of the implementation of a new market risk system (internal model). The project was taken over in a crisis and successfully conducted within time and budget. The two digit million euro project was conducted within Europe - coordination and closed cooperation with several external partners added additional complexity. The reporting layer of the system consists of a in memory cube solution providing valuable real time insights for the market risk division of the bank.

I successfully conducted a study and business case regarding a centralisation of the distributed Misys Kondor+ installation within Europe/China/US. I lead the Misys Kondor+ upgrade and implementation of OIS functionality within Europe/China/US and successfully achieved the agreed goals within time and budget. The multi million euro project included the coordination of several external partners. Customers included Front Office, Mid Office and Risk Management.

I lead the collateral management project within Eine IT legacy host replacement program. The projects were taken over in a crisis. I successfully managed within one year to replan and rebudget the project and bring it back on track.

I successfully lead the IT part of a multi entity upgrade project of Mysis Kondor+ treasury position keeping system with customers in Front Office, Mid Office and Risk Management. The multi million euro project achieved the agreed goals in time and budget. I lead the IT operations team as an interim manager, supported the integration in the IT subsidiary and achieved operational excellence using lean and agile practices.

I achieved to successfully lead IT projects related to product and data warehouse enhancements with focus on marketing and controlling customers. The projects were mainly focused on gain better insights in numbers, integration of new subsidiaries and improvements of system architecture to reduce time to market.

Successful participation in one of BMD’s largest software development projects - from Cobol to Delphi and Oracle/SQL Server. Additional experience gained by in a customising software for one of the biggest tax consultant companies in Austria and participation in implementation of a new web based GUI for BMD NTCS.
