• Developing safety relevant software for control systems in C for microcontrollers by Infineon (32 Bit and 16 Bit) in the field of rail vehicles according EN61508. • Testing of firmwares and systems developed by coworkers according EN61508. • Maintenance and improvement of existing software. • Writing and reviewing software requirements specifications, software test requirements, software test reports etc.

•Supporting the transfer of a new production line to China by preparing assembly and testing instructions. • Supporting the development and testing team on several projects by creating test documentations, test software and test facilities. • Most programming was done with LabView (visited a LabView Hands-On Workshop in Baden)

• Developing a user interface in C# to configure the devices, downloading of the logged data and to visualize the results in a GUI. • Developing firmware for different types of microcontrollers (8 Bit ) from TI with integrated RF module to measure various physical quantities and to log them over a longer period. • Soldering the devices (SMD) and some layout changes with Altium Designer.
