Leader of AI-based solutions for a start-up focused on novel threat intelligence (cybersecurity) offers to large enterprises. Proposed, developed, and monitored complete end-to-end AI-based solutions. Used language models (generative and embeddings) to extract value from unstructured data. Developed in Python (using numpy, pandas, plotly, and other libraries) and Go for Docker deployments managed with Kubernetes along with metrics and monitoring of AI quality (DevOps/MLOps) in an Azure environment.

Technical leader for the AI-based solution implemented in the mainframe’s z/OS. Analyzed the problem of increasing mainframes’ performance, evaluated different approaches and proposed the final AI-based solution. Implemented the core AI/ML algorithm based on a novel time-series method, which resulted in one patent in the US. Developed metrics and AI pipelines to monitor the quality of the AI-based solution. Lead the adoption of several changes in the team’s workflow using Agile PM principles.

Diverse Data Engineering and backend software developer tasks in an Agile environment. Developed and managed more than 8 new end-to-end Docker-based cloud processes (using Flask/Jinja2) for generating, enriching, and reporting threat intelligence to customers. Built more than 8 new data dashboards (Kibana/Grafana) for DevOps and data quality assesment (DataDevOps). Published 7 public threat intelligence reports. Assisted in the agile development process as substitute SCRUM master for more than 5 months.

Developed a complete ML-based signal processing pipeline for data from a space observatory to extract new insights. Developed ML and statistical tools in R and Python for automated detailed astronomical data analysis along with suitable visualizations. Published 3 peer-reviewed technical reports in top-tier academic journals Presented 3 times the obtained results in front of large conference audiences.
