I head up the Group HR Team at hVIVO Plc, who are helping the company to expand rapidly into many aspects of Biotech and Clinical Trials, across Europe, through our group of companies.

Took a sabbatical year travelling around the world. Visited Asia, Far East, South America, Central Amercia amongst over places. Sailed blue water crossing and cruising around the tropics.

Joined company as second employee and built up IT Recruitment division to 12 people over 6 years. Hired, trained and managed teams to deliver year on year growth and profit. Focused on strategic planning, branding and driving new territories on both contract and permanent role. Always lead by example and very hands on.

Traditional recruitment consultant dealing with both contract and permanent recruitment in the UK.

Hired to manage the contract IT Recruitment sector. Successfully developed contract desk from 10K monthly profit to 24K within 12 months. I was involved with negotiating the rates for contractors supplied to Marconi, which was Computer & Technical Personnel. I was approached after the negotiation to work on behalf of Computer & Technical Personnel

At Marconi Instruments I was chiefly involved in the specification, design and development of application programs and library routines. The team I was working in was developing software for electronic automatic test equipment. The function of the software was to automatically generate a test program and test jig from a circuit description file as produced by CAD equipment. - A user interface for the entire system, which manages the various files and libraries for the user.
