Jacobi Carbons is the largest coconut shell activated carbon manufacturer in the world, with primary production facilities throughout Asia and additional processing facilities in both Europe and North America. Activated carbon is a highly versatile product with a multitude of applications from water treatment to the recovery of precious metals such as gold. Andrew is currently under a short-term contract to support the group CFO and Financial Controller.

Commenced employment in October 2005 as an undergraduate accountant and have progressed through to a manager position in the business advisory department. Jointly manage a team of 15 accountants to deliver annual compliance and advisory services. Specialised in advising business owners in predominately family owned privately held businesses, with annual revenue ranging from €3.2m to €224m EUR.

Responsibilities as explained above but with a smaller client base.

Participated in a 6 month secondment program with our Stockholm office to broaden my international experience and assist with the expansion of their advisory offerings. The secondment involved working with all departments, attending marketing and recruitment functions, working on-site at client premises and attending client meetings.

Assist partners and managers to provide business advisory services and meet client compliance obligations with federal and state revenue agencies, including annual financial statements, tax returns and indirect tax lodgments.

Part-time accounting role with a sole practitioner while studying my bachelor degree. Duties included the preparation of management accounts, company, individual income tax returns and attending audit engagements.
