• Developed software for various applications in microscopy and analysis. • Developed & optimised microscopy algorithms as used in life sciences and industry.

• Developed software targeted on various life science products for fluorescence microscopy as used in fundamental research, applied science and diagnostics.

• Performed theoretical investigations of fast electron dynamics in solids due to interaction with ultrashort light pulses. Designed and developed two software projects on the research topics mentioned above.

• Mastered and substantially improved five large software projects on optical instruments produced. • Implemented new algorithms to perform more fast and accurate calculations connected with both optical and mechanical parts of the systems produced. • Developed from scratch two large and numerous small projects for emerging instruments (systems for optical analysis and in-situ monitoring of samples during deposition process in vacuum).

• Performed a complete spectrum of activities necessary for studying various effects of ion implantation in many semiconductors (Si, Ge, GaAs, InP, GaP, InSb, AlAs, GaN) including preparation of samples (chemical etching, CVD, RTA) and their post-irradiation analysis by means of RBS/Channelling, REM/TEM/XTEM, SIMS, and optical methods. • Performed theoretical modelling of radiation damage formation in solids. • The obtained results enabled many important conclusions in the relevant field of physics.

• Developed software for optimisation of simultaneous process of ion beam sputtering, deposition and intermixing of layered structures of iron, steels, copper alloys, etc., by a single ion beam. • Simulated radiation defect/track formation in solids due to high-energy heavy ion irradiation.
