Responsible for modelling and mapping data from source tables and files to a data warehouse in order to comply with the requirements of Solvency II for this global credit insurance player. Have been delivering the mapping specifications which define how raw data are to be mapped to their DWH table counterparts and moved to the project data warehouse. Am working with the Quant manager to define and describe how risk reference data will be managed, and how risk models will be constructed.

Member of the Data Architecture team. Modeled the reference data for a new trading system. Wrote the requirements document for the reference data. Built the logical and physical models for the proposed system to conform to FIX protocol. Authored the related functional specifications document. Imported data model into MagicDraw, transformed to UML. Authored a document containing usage scenarios, activity diagrams, and process flows, providing guidance to developers and testers.

Team leader of a 10-person middleware team, responsible for supporting global financial transmissions. Documented the transmission landscape, which contributed to a 100 billion EUR valuation when ABN Amro was bought out by a consortium of Royal Bank of Scotland, Banco Santander, and Fortis.

Technical lead for a small (8-man) team deploying approximately 2000 new interfaces for re-architecture of European operations. Middleware project manager for France rollout.

Proposed workable architecture for messaging. Managed all tasks associated with the installation, configuration, and testing of WebSphere MQ on multiple platforms. Supported development activities.

Managed life cycle activities involved in creating trading data warehouse, built on data migrated from OS/390/DB2 database to Oracle 8/Solaris database with Oracle/NT/Impromptu front end. Responsible not only for management, but also for implementation.

Architected a Web trading system, db-markets eTrade. db-markets eTrade is the most successful FX trading platform globally, according to a survey conducted by Euromoney in May, 2001.

Managed the implementation of a “gateway” to transmit trades between Singapore, Frankfurt, London, and New York. MQSeries consultant to numerous bank projects.
