- Designed and implemented algorithms for strength training monitoring using inertial wearable sensors and smart textiles, enhancing telemedicine solutions for posture analysis and cancer patient care. - Developed real-time data collection and analysis platforms, including web and smartphone applications, to monitor and analyze biomechanical data during physical exercises. - Collaborated with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in wearable technology and telemedicine applications.

- Designed and prototyped novel wearables, including smart garments with integrated electronics and AI-driven personalization, for telemedicine. - Developed AI algorithms for detecting and classifying body sounds. - Planned and supervised clinical studies, gathered patient data, and improved prototype comfort and functionality. - Developed a non-invasive smart shirt for monitoring inflammatory bowel diseases, supporting physicians in improving diagnostic accuracy and treatment personalization.

- Post market surveillance of medical devices placed in the IIG market – Italy, Israel and Greece – in collaboration with remote resources from the countries. - Management of the official communication with the Ministry of Health. - Records maintenance of products registered in IIG markets and FSN-FCO notifications. - Validation of internal Philips S.p.A. management tools to ensure compliance with ISO13485 standard. - Training on EU Medical Device Regulation 2020.

- Internship at SIA S.p.a. as a consultant employee of ALTEN Italia, performing software tests remotely for third party clients. - Use of test manager tools. Use of SQL language, JCL and COBOL interfaces. - Training on ISTQB fundamentals.

Master project at the Electronics Department on the development of a robotic arm prototype. Two control systems were designed and implemented for separate applications. A motion tracking based wireless control system with Kinect and Leap Motion sensors was developed for robotic surgery applications. A myoelectric control system was developed for trans-humeral prosthesis applications.

- Training on hospital organization, clinical workflows, key technologies in use in different medical specialties. - Weekly visits at the hospital facilities to gain first-hand understanding of medical procedures and the use of medical devices for diagnosis and treatment.

Analysis of physiological data acquired from patients with neurological diseases, including NIRS signals to evaluate how the brain compensates the lack of oxygen in different patient’s conditions, in collaboration with the medical staff of the clinic.
