Within the Ocean Literacy team, I coordinated the organisation of public engagement and outreach events during the Tara Europa expedition. We successfully welcomed over 7000 participants during 8 stopovers in France, Estonia, Ireland, Spain, Italy and Greece. - Recrutement and training of local volunteers - Management of public visits of the boat and science workshops. - Delivery of activities in various languages (French, English, Spanish, German). - Development and deployment of PE and outreach tools.

Coordination of EMBL communications' outreach activities between November 2019 and June 2021 – Main organiser between April and December 2020 (Maternity cover). Leading the communications campaign for EMBL Scientific Services from September 2020 until June 2021.

I followed 4 years of evening courses in Paris, from 2003 to 2007, while working full time. Range of topics: from Molecular and Cell Biology and Microbiology to Management and Interpersonal communication. While at the CRG in Barcelona I finished my degree by writing a thesis: "A novel mechanism of calcium mediated cargo sorting at the Trans-Golgi Network" Grade: 18/20
