Antara Sadhu

As a research intern at SHRM Biotechnologies Pvt. Ltd., I worked on a 3-month research project focused on optimizing the process of HeLa cell culture using RSM. My responsibilities included conducting experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and communicating the results. I also published my first academic paper during this project, which further developed my scientific communication skills.

As an intern, I was responsible for conducting diagnostic tests and analyzing samples in both the histopathology and biochemistry departments. My day-to-day responsibilities included collecting and preparing patient samples for testing, performing laboratory tests, analyzing results, maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies, documenting procedures and results, and collaborating with other laboratory staff and healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate diagnoses.

I have completed a Bachelor's degree with a triple major in Chemistry, Microbiology, and Biotechnology, providing me with a diverse and comprehensive understanding of these fields. In addition, I was an active member of my college's debate team, which helped me develop strong communication and critical thinking skills. During my academic career, I presented a poster on the pathogenicity of mucormycosis in COVID-19 patients, demonstrating my interest and dedication to research in the field.

I have completed my high school diploma with a strong focus on science, including Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, as well as Informatics Practices and Economics. During my time in high school, I was an active participant in Model UNs and interschool debates, developing my critical thinking and communication skills. In recognition of my writing ability, I won first prize in a national essay writing competition. Furthermore, I was elected as a prefect, demonstrating my leadership.
