Using .NET Core (C#), Angular5, RxJS and TypeScript to rewrite core legacy systems within OUTsurance. Work within a highly collaborative Agile (SCRUM) team managed using regular code reviews (for each pull request) to manage quality and consistency. Use an Integration between Confluence, Jira and Bitbucket (Git/Github flow) to manage the analysis, product backlog and source code respectively and CI/CD using TFS and Octopus to manage deployment.

Architect, design, model, implement and deploy application to facilitate the reuse and sharing of online gambling data; manage projects to shape affiliate marketing for the online casino industry. Propose technology strategy to improve website implementation & deployment efficiency. Recruit, mentor and direct a technical lead and senior full stack developer while using .NET and cloud solutions to enhance scalability, availability and performance.

Managed and trained dev teams in 3 locations, growing tech abilities, encouraging upskilling, certifications and accelerating delivery time frames. The team consisted of 45 people incl. C# .NET developers, QA, RIA developers, HTML & JS developers, business analysts, campaign admins and web analysts. They developed the following types of projects: quick-turn marketing campaigns, CRM-based/web portal solutions for all agencies and subsidiaries in the Aqua group (Aqua Agency, Base2 and Wunderman South Africa).

Responded to tech. proposals to senior stakeholders & assisted with RFP and quote responses. Motivated, reviewed & mentored dev. team; mapped career paths in alignment with staff goals and skills, encouraging certifications and subject matter expertise. Verified project costs, assigned staff to projects and managed dev. activities. Trained devs to drive tech. skills, improve quality and shorten delivery time frames. Improved dev. team and PM operations while championing use of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Designed and Implemented web solutions, defined costs, managed expectations and led development of functionality for prototypes and client projects, clients included MTN, Coca-Cola, Absa Bank, South African Breweries, Kulula.com and Ster-Kinekor Cinemas. Served as subject matter expert and technology consultant for RFP responses, providing technical advice for solution costing, timelines and resources.
