Working on asymmetric stem cell divisions in Drosophila melanogaster as a model organism. Focussing on the epigenetically defined centromere and its role in asymmetric stem cell divisions and impact on stem cell fate. Applying Genetic manipulation tools, Immunofluorescence, Molecular cloning, Protein work and detailed fluorescence microscopy to conduct my research.
As a pharmacist and branch manager I was responsible for all areas of the pharmacy and dealt with e.g. medication consultancy, customer queries, crew management, supervision of the laboratory and formulations, documentation and checking supplies.
