Operation and maintenance of HVDC links (SA.PE.I and SA.CO.I.2), high voltage electrical stations, synchronous compensators and storage systems: - Programming and execution of technical checks and annual maintenance - Data extraction for fault analysis in the high voltage network - Navigation in the control system software to verify the correct operation of the system - Warranty management with the supplier of the system - Availability to work beyond normal working hours

Verification and review of electrical wiring diagrams and electromechanical plans of Energy Storage Systems and their connection to the high voltage grid. Electrical calculations for the dimensioning of the auxiliary low-voltage and medium-voltage services, lighting calculations, fire prevention systems, power converters. Test surveillances and inspections in the supplier’s factory for: power converter systems, integrated control systems, substation automation systems, medium voltage – low voltage devices.

Analysis of design documentation of the converter stations (co-ordination of isolation, current and voltage transformers, disconnectors, conversion bridges, cooling systems, protection from lightning) related to HVDC project MON.ITA. (Italy-Montenegro link). Analysis of design documentation of HVDC and HVAC cable systems (terminations, joints, flow calculations, mechanical calculations, magnetic fields, electromagnetic interference, qualification and type tests, failure analysis).

HVDC transmission systems with extruded and mass impregnated insulation cables based on LCCs and VSCs technology: layout, features and applications. High voltage systems, electrical links and machines, electrical innovative technologies, power plants and renewable power technologies

Analog and digital electronics, opto-electronics, electromagnetic compatibility, automatic controls, quantitative methods for decision, electronic measurements, sensors, automatic measurement systems. Basic knowledge of C ++, Java, Assembler Use of Matlab, Labview, Simulink, VHDL-XLinks
