Created mesh and simulation setup for CFD-simulation of a flow channel and analysis of drop-movement on coated fibres.

Implemented and validated Taylor Based Interpolation (TBI) scheme in FASTEST-3D. Validated and tested the implementation on orthogonal and randomly non-orthogonal grids for flow simulation in a channel. Performed LES of flow over a circular cylinder in OpenFOAM. The work also involved modifying solver in OpenFOAM. Wrote a utility to calculate wall y + for compressible LES flow simulation.

Generated mesh for Czochralski crystal growth process in Pointwise and Gambit softwares. Wrote a script for automation of mesh generation in Gambit.

Simulated internal air flow through nozzles. Validated simulation setups against wind-tunnel data. Performed external aerodynamic analysis for flight performance, stability and control analysis. Organized and conducted software training for fresh inductees working as Cell Head of Software Cell in Aerodynamics Division.
