He completed his Master's-Doctoral program in 4.5 years. His research is the development of self-healing ceramics which can autonomouls heal the cracks. While conventional self-healing research has focused only material selection, he has focused on atmosphere and developed a novel self-healing mechanism and application. The results will be applied in aircraft turbine blades.
