I am studying to attain my Master's in City and Regional Planning. I am concentrating on environmental policy, climate change policy and international development. Research interests include greenhouse gas emissions reductions strategies as integrated into sustainable development strategies.

• Supported Bay Area and Midwest member governments to conduct a green house gas emissions inventory and climate action plan to mitigate and adapt to global climate change. • Supported the 80x50 research project modeling the policies needed to reach 80% GHG emissions reduction below 2000 levels by the year 2050. • Trained new program staff in membership and technical support • Contributed to ICLEI’s creation of tools and protocols for measuring GHG emissions

• Researched and prepared articles and presentation materials for Citizen Action kit • Wrote press releases and fact-sheets for various project developments • Compiled and wrote the annual report for the project

• Researched new and updated existing Case Studies and Tools for a Creating Quality Places Website www.marc2.org/cqp • Assisted in creation of RecycleSpot.org, a searchable online recycling services database • Coordinated logistics, performed research, and maintained databases for a regional Green Infrastructure project • Supported a Soil Testing public outreach campaign
