I have supported core protection functions by conducting protection monitoring and data analysis, guiding partners on case processing and compliance, coordinating with field units to ensure cases are referred and resolved, and consolidating data for evidence-based protection planning and reporting.

As Project Manager at We2 Design, a graphic design studio, I coordinated project activities, timelines, and deliverables to meet client needs, regularly engaging with clients, primarily UN organizations such as IOM missions worldwide, to understand their requirements, guide projects through the full cycle, and maintain strong client relationships.

I oversaw initiatives to enhance social cohesion and support populations with specific needs, including managing a project for children with specific needs and their caregivers in collaboration with Konak Municipality, facilitating their access to special education services, serving as Izmir's Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) focal point to help ensure a safe working environment, and acting as disability inclusion focal point to prioritize inclusivity across programs.

I managed the Support to Key Refugee Groups Project. My responsibilities encompassed budget planning, meticulous reporting, and seamless coordination across three refugee service units situated in Ankara, Eskişehir, and Mersin.

As case supervisor for field workers, I oversaw their activities and ensured effective communication with national and international NGOs and government institutions, coordinating protection operations across multiple offices in Izmir and neighboring provinces, prioritizing protection cases across donor-funded projects, developing case management plans, and representing the organization in inter-agency meetings.

I conducted interviews with refugees to perform comprehensive needs assessments, addressing issues such as exposure to gender-based violence, specific needs, and significant health or disability concerns, and carried out case management procedures, facilitating internal and external referrals to ensure appropriate support and services.

I supported groups with specific needs, provided counseling on accessing protection mechanisms in Turkey, referred cases to UNHCR when necessary, collaborated with various institutions to address complex needs identified through one-on-one interviews with refugees, and served as note-taker for focus group discussions with local and Syrian community members for the UN Women Needs Assessment Project on Women and Girls Under Temporary Protection Status in Turkey, compiling detailed reports on key insights.

As part of the E-Voucher project, I participated in conducting preliminary interviews with beneficiaries before the distribution of cash aid cards. I was responsible for reporting and referring beneficiaries to the appropriate individuals for further evaluation and assessment.

I began my career in the humanitarian sector in 2016 as an intern at the Multi-Service Support Center of the Association for Social Development and Aid Mobilization (ASAM) in Izmir, where I supported the heater distribution programme by organizing documentation and managing data entry for beneficiary records.
