ICT Automotive – Senior Project Manager and end-responsible for all Automotive projects in the vertical Automotive projects for NL as well in Germany for customers like VW / Audi / VWIF / Audi Quattro / ItalDesign/ Bosch Hildesheim / Bosch Leonberg / Valeo / LGE / LEAR / Hyunday / NSI / Daimler / DAF / TomTom

Overall responsible for all running projects within HUMIQ BV. As member of the MT, I reported the financial project results to the other MT members. Coaching the direct responsible Project managers and End- responsible for the project calculation. This in the embedded, control and system sw domain. Acting as escalation level where necessary.

As manager of the projects, I was end-responsible for the projects which were executed in the Embedded SW department. it was my task to supervise all running projects, by coaching the Project Managers and support actively the sales department during quotation phases.

Senior Project manager of a platform-update- and integration project of new features like SDAR, bluetooth phone, iPod. This has been executed for the Siemens-VDO car infotainment system which is integrated in the Volkswagen Phaeton and Bentley Continental GT. As Project manager, I was responsble for the 4 fixed price/date projects, with an team-size between 8-30 FTE. It was my task as project manager to extract a commercial Edge Test case package from the previous development activities. As result the product was launched and sold to one leading chipset manufacturer, where I am currently leading the acceptance phase. Beside that I am coordinating two technical training projects (TTCN and DSP) and supports the organisation to develop new business.

It was my task as project manager to run this project, consisting of 5 subprojects, with team-size varying between 10 - 45 FTE’s.This test case development project needs to cover all Edge requirements as specified by 3GPP for the Mobile Station.

In my role as projectmanager I had to estimate two test case development fixed price projects, to staff them and execute these projects by staying within the estimated budget with 1-4 developers.

- Berlin/Germany - Projectleader On a fixed price and fixed date base, ICT implemented additional functionality in an existing GSM/GPRS protocol stack. In my role as project leader we achieved with 6 FTE’s the tight milestones and deliveries.

As projectleader it was my task to gain knowledge within ICT of the GPRS and UMTS protocol stack layer 2 and 3 as well of the methods and tooling used for the developing of protocol stacks. With a team varying between 12-16 experienced embedded software developers a simulation model of both stacks was created and secured the knowledge in workshop modules.

The project consists of the implementation of new functionality in an existing GSM basestation / network system. It was my responsibility as project leader to execute this project on a fixed price and fixed date base with an average team-size of 10 FTE’s

As consultant I supported during this period ICT’s project development organisation, to start-up a new development site in Groningen. Including the transfer of two running projects with its infrastructure.

In my role as consultant for Carl Zeiss Jena, I supported the different disciplines at Carl Zeiss to launch the new UHTS (Ultra High Throughput Screening) system in the market, by reviewing Software Specification, writing advanced manuals, executing integration tests and supporting training sessions for customers.

During this period I was directly involved in the development of a new prototype UHTS system in cooperation with Carl Zeiss Jena. In a multi-disciplinary team of physicians and biologists I was responsible for the software requirements, organisation, automation and integration of the tremendous data-flow that these systems are producing.

Inside the division Diagnostics, I was in the role as Oracle DBA responsible to keep the LIMS operational. Additional we developed in a team a light LIMS application, a barcode handling system and a technical information system.

Inside Riniker I was responsible for the control software of the transport-systems for the meat-industry. By translating the user-requirements to the software specifications for subcontractors I was strong involved in the completions of three production sites.

In this period I was responsible as representative from ACTIW (Finland) to get a deep-frozen warehouse in full-automatic operation, concerning the control software from ACTIW. Meanwhile I trained the Bofrost people and made improvement proposals in cooperation with the customer.

In a small software team, I developed software to control an “Actiw” block-warehouse and integrated this software on-site at the customers and supporting Hugo Fritschi AG to get this warehouse in operation as quick as possible. I was involved to integrate the software at two different customers in Switzerland.

Dornier Immenstaad / Germany - Improving sw performance of a control/guiding system Philips Hasselt / Belgium: - Developing drivers for test-equipment Bodenseewerke Geraete Technik Ueberlingen / Germany: - Extending, maintaining and testing the sw for the control ECU of the tail-engine of the Airbus A320 Philips Mikroskopie / Eindhoven : - sw driver development for the stage-control of a Mikroskop.
