    Post-Doctoral Researcher at the DPS (Distributed and Parallel Systems) Group, Institute of Computer Science, University of Innsbruck, Austria. My main work focuses on the OpenCL and heterogeneous research group in the Insieme Compiler, project led by Prof. Thomas Fahringer. I'm also involved in the Doctoral School (FWF DK-plus) Computational Interdisciplinary Modelling where I investigate multidisciplinary research approaches together with leading scientists from various fields.

    I was a Computer Science PhD student in the Isis Research Lab, Dipartimento di Informatica, Universita' degli Studi di Salerno (Italy). The title of my Ph.D. thesis was "Efficient distributed load balancing for parallel algorithms" and I was advised by prof. Vittorio Scarano.

  • Visiting Researcher

    Universität Stuttgart

    During my Ph.D. studentship, I was the recipient of a DAAD scholarship and two HPC Translational Grants (HPC-Europa2 and HPC-Europa++) for which I worked at the HLRS Supercomputing Center in Stuttgart and I was hosted by the Visualization Research Center at Universität Stuttgart (led by Prof. Thomas Ertl), under the supervision of Prof. Carsten Dachsbache
