My overall management responsibility is for Würth Denmark's IT operations, IT development, IT support and continuous optimization of the IT platform. We create value for our customers, and we help reduce our customers' total costs, increase their efficiency and create new earnings opportunities. In this regard, the realization of Würth's digitalization strategy is a cornerstone in closer cooperation with our customers, suppliers and business partners.

Responsible for IT investments, projects, and operations in 14 companies in 13 European countries, and in addition making sure the technical prerequisites is completed to realise an ambitious growth business strategy. Negotiations and closure of contracts with global service providers of ERP systems, tele communication and network, Internet services, e-commerce solutions, and consultancy services. Management Consultant in a small consultancy company offering services within network organisation, knowledge management, IT strategy and project management. I was involved in product development of a project collaboration system for the Internet, which I as consultant and project manager installed in an educational network between educational institutions in Kalundborg and Kalundborg Symbiosis. A related offering was courses, where I as instructor trained in project management via the Internet.

Managed as a system manager systems for the wholesale business in the areas of: data warehouse, sales, CRM and order-to-cash. Delivered as a project manager among others the following solutions: • New standard debtor system. • Administrative systems for the wholesale company Nordisk Tobacco Company. • B2B integration with strategic suppliers and customers based on EDI / EDIFACT.

Employee representative until the board decided to merge SH-Data A/S into the parent company Scandinavian Tobacco Company A / S. Key Achievements: • Divestment of own developed system for material and production management, PRODIS, to Software AG. • Decommissioning of external activities and conversion to exclusively internal IT service provider. • Conversion of system portfolio from the 1970s to more contemporary IT solutions.

SCS Dukadan were the largest wholesaler of semi-finished plastics in Denmark, when I became Software Developer & Analyst, with a main task to develop financial and logistics systems for the business. As we were a small internal IT department I also had hands-on responsibility of the daily IT operations.

At Kommunedata, the largest IT service provider to the public sector in Denmark, I started as Systems Analyst and Software Developer developing systems for the national health insurance sector. Later, and after joining IBM’s project management training programme, I became Project manager where I delivered a salary and subsidy clearing system for general practitioners in Denmark.
