Bryan Chan

Buro Four is an independent, employee owned and boutique management consulting firm of project, programme and development managers (PMC). We have offices across the UK and Europe including Amsterdam, Frankfurt, etc. I am part of the company's mission critical and data centre team. Currently working on a new-built data centre scheme and miscellaneous refurbishment projects.

I was part of Mace Consultancy Technical Services (CTS) Practice for professionals with architectural and engineering background. CTS offers design management and advisory services to clients in both public and private sectors.

Bryan worked as a freelance for nearly four years. His last appointment was with Hurley Palmer Flatt (HPF); a company that provides technical advisory services in mission critical engineering and commercial fit-outs. Prior to joining HPF in July 2015, he led a team of engineers and worked with world renowned architects to deliver various Middle East projects at Buro Happold (BH).

-Worked in a design consultancy, which is part of Morgan Sindall Group plc (with a turnover of £2.2 billion). -The scope of my role encompasses design management and review, client presentations, cost forecasting, resource allocation and tender/bid preparation, among others. -Led and managed a team of engineers on Whitechapel Crossrail. -Strategically planned and delivered various work packages successfully (i.e. early work LU Interface areas and temporary ticket hall among others).

-Undertook electrical system designs, managed small to medium scale projects and client relationships, and was in charge of a variety of engineering commissions. -Delivered various electrical design schemes within the railway and building services sector on time and within budget to client's requirements. -Undertook electrical commissioning and handover on site. -Attended PRINCE2 (project management) training course, and obtained PRINCE2 Reg Practitioner certification and Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
