Creating digital content is always an exciting challenge, especially when you have to get it pixel perfect. The Job itself is part Icon design, Part Art direction and part Brand Management.

CY is an organisation devoted to the exploration of the Why behind things. Much like a monothematic magazine brings a subject closer to its audience through a printed issue, we intend to do the same by putting on annual exhibitions and events devoted to the background of a subject/.

Hella De Santarossa is a contemporary artist, with a focus on works of Glass. Starting in 2004 with a catalogue, I took over the responsibility for designing her communications for various events, such as the Venice Biennale, various exhibitions, announcements, and more recently, the creation of a preview website for this year.

After having done some promotion jobs for Avantgarde, I was given the opportunity to Intern for them for three months. My responsibilities included A&R management, research, assisting the head of the Berlin office and assistance in the planning of various events.

Before Achtung! became the Film Festival it is today, we engaged in a long conceptual stage, researching ways to give the visitor a unique and novel festival experience. I had to quit this project at that stage due to the pressures of being a fulltime student, yet consider it an important experience, as it gave me the opportunity to shape what has become one of the most interesting and entertaining regional film festivals in Germany.

I was responsible for the Art& Decoration Side of the festival, as well as the gathering and layout of various press materials. Later on, my interest for the stage allowed me to branch out from there into the organisation of the theatre branch of the fIlm festival, resulting in the Spot on Stage series.
