In 2017 I joined the event team at Wirecard, a payment service provider and technology company with headquarters in Munich, Germany. As Marketing Manager for Tradeshows and Events, I held the responsibility to organize the company’s presence at certain tradeshows and startup events (like dmexco, Heureka Conference and Pirate Summit). Selecting suitable sponsorship as well as speaker opportunities to maximize the company’s visibility at these events was also part of my work.

As Event Manager at Gameforge – a video games publisher & developer based in Karlsruhe, well known for free2play Online Games like AION, Ogame & Metin2 – I was responsible for planning and delivering all internal and external events. This included, for example, the budget management, the overall planning process, working together with a huge international network of suppliers to create tradeshow presences, community events and corporate events like Christmas & summer parties as well as game jams.

During my time as Event Manager at Crytek – a video game developer & publisher with headquarters in Frankfurt am Main, famous for titles like the original Far Cry, the Crysis series as well as their game engine CRYENGINE – my responsibilities comprised the overall planning & execution of all events. By organizing Crytek’s presence at conferences & tradeshows like GDC, E3 & Gamescom as well as corporate events, I gained a lot of experience in a short time and received a deep insight in the games industry.

While working as an Event Intern at Crytek in Frankfurt, Germany, I assisted the Event Manager with all projects. This included preparations for internal events, like the Christmas party, as well as for big tradeshows like GDC, E3 and Gamescom. My main tasks were also keeping the internal event calendar up to date, preparing the monthly internal event newsletter, creating briefings and working schedules for the event staff and maintaining the merchandise and marketing material stock.
