Responsibility of the R&D activities, Pilot Plants and Quality Control for the whole Intermediates Business Unit, leading different teams (total 45 people) involved in internal projects and/or working in collaboration with external key-customers.

Direct responsibility of the Catalysts and Process Development R&D activities, as well as the supervision of Group R&D Strategic Projects.

Coordination of site R&D Laboratories (Technologies and Product Development) and Pilot Plant Departments, as well as Quality Control. I was involved in specific Group Projects (Task Force) for process improvement and optimization in different company Sites.

Responsible for scientific work, projects activities and people (11 headcounts) organization of the R&D Catalyst Department (Laboratories and Pilot Plants), as well as quality control of the Catalyst Production Department.

Full responsibility (timing, costs and results) of research projects and / or industrial scaling up of heterogeneous catalysts for gas phase oxidation.
